White Oak was founded in 2007 by Finn Smith, whose career began on framing, roofing, and landscaping crews before expanding into residential construction, operations, and custom homebuilding. That hands-on foundation continues to shape the company today.

What began as an Atlanta design-build and renovation firm has grown into a luxury homebuilder serving Atlanta, Highlands, and Florida’s Gulf Coast. With more than 1,200 homes built—from thoughtful renovations to custom residences and community developments—White Oak has remained guided by one principle: put people first.
